I'm anxious to find out if I can pause my period for just a few more hours. Having heard that sex itself sometimes releases just enough hormones to perhaps accomplish this, I wanted to find out if it's just anecdotal, or if a lot of people experience this?

I really wouldn't think so. Certainly I've never experienced it, although I'll be interested to see what people say. I mean, even if somehow the sex caused the blood vessels that feed the uterus to shut and halted the exfoliation of the uterine lining, the menstrual fluid that was already in your uterus prior to the sexing would still work its way out.

Unless sex shuts off gravity. And if sex can shut off gravity, I am clearly doing it wrong:)

That's not true. You can't simply shut off your period. Don't listen to whatever the other person said.
