how long does it take a cavity to reach the root. i hvae to wait one week. Will it reach the root by then?

Every now and again i get a nose bleed for no apparent reason, I have been extremely stressed for a while now, could this be the reason?

My husband is 35- high blood pressure and high cholesterol run in his family. He is currently taking BP medication.

So the most recent blood work shows the following:

Total Cholesterol is 203 (needs to be under 200)
HDL is 65 (should be greater than 39)
LDL is 77 (should be less than 130)
Triglycerides is 305 (should be under 150)

***the stuff in parenthesis is what we were told***

That being said. His tri level has dropped from 489 to 305 with the minor diet changes he has made in the last few months.

What do all these number mean? Would most Dr's suggest putting him on medication if he is improving his numbers through diet? (he doesn't want to start taking meds just yet but he will if he has to)

Got a very painful ache at the left side of the bottom of my back, every now and again it shoots down my leg but I can't think of any cause like pulled muscle, twisted etc

Like, if you didn't touch the person and you were just in the sort-of perimeter of the person at some points during the course of a day, would you most likely catch the sickness of that person? Whether, cold, flu, etc.?

I donated plasma for the first time yesterday. Afterwards I sat there for 15 minutes and felt fine. I even stopped at a gas station before I got home to get a gatorade. I live on the 3rd floor of my apartments, and as soon as I started up the stairs I almost blacked out. I finally made it to my apartment, but I felt sick the rest of the night even though I drank a ton more of water and juice and had healthy meals.

Now today I woke up and I feel like a total basket-case.
I have been crying for no reason, and things that usually don't bug me are making me so crazy and upset that I cry more.
If I get up quick from sitting or laying down I still get a little dizzy, but I'm not to worried about that. I just have never felt so sad/upset about stupid stuff this badly before in my life!!!

Does the way I'm feeling today have anything to do with donating plasma yesterday, or am I just having a really bad day?

So I go to the doctor to get my rib checked out. It might be cracked or it might be a muscle strain.

At any rate they send me to get an x-ray done of the sore spot.

For some reason the x-ray tech decided to x-ray my heart and lungs twice. Then asked me if I had shortness of breath, heart trouble, etc. like 3 times during that last part.

Of course she is not allowed to say anything because she is not the doctor or official x-ray report reader.

So now I'm like, whoa! I wonder what's up with those questions. Should I be having trouble? What did she find?

Now I have to wait a few days to know because of the super strict rules about that kind of stuff.

I'm sorry to be so blunt about this but my butt crack is red, raw, and scabby. I had diahhrea for about 2 weeks and all the wiping has left it like this. I have tried neosporin and destin (for diaper rash). It hurts so bad and is bloody when I wipe. What can I do????

I was a passenger of a car accident (not at fault party) back in December. I obtained whiplash (shown in x-rays) and have suffered with migraines, backaches, neckaches, and shoulderaches daily since then. I have been on multiple meds, tried physical therapy (4 months), chiropractic treatment (still going), cortisone shots, and nerve blocks, none of which have helpd. CT scan and MRI came out negative. Most recently I had my nerve endings burned with radio frequency. I am positive this make my pain go away, however it is not a permanant solution, it may only last up to a year. So far I have $12,000 in medical bills. I may need future care. How long after I am pain free should I settle? What can I expect to settle at? Also can I get future money for care without a lawyer? I am not looking at making a ton of money, but I have suffered quite a bit. It changed my life tremendously. I mess up the simplest of tasks because the pain and meds. I can't enjoy the things I would normally do.

I was just taking a shower, & this was the most I've sneezed in my whole entire life! I know I'm getting sick, & so many sneezes has caused me a headache.

& also, is it true that if you take a shower or go swimming, & then enter a cold environment, like a cold room with A/C, then you're prone to a cold or is that a myth?

For a long time ive noticed that when i eat cereal shortly after waking up, my stomach hurts a little later on and has that rumbling feeling in my stomach. Why is this? (Its only the cereals such as fruity pebbles, cocoa pebbles, ect.)
