It's past desitin or any kind of diaper ointment. You don't have to see a doctor. Keep it clean and over the next week possibly 2 (should feel better in a few days) use CLOTRIMAZOLE on it. You have developed a yeast or fungal infection which is REALLY common almost like jock itch. That area doesn't breath well, so with all the wiping and bacteria it was bound to happen! Apply it after you clean with soap and water at least in the morning and at night. You CAN put some desitin over it if it makes you more comfortable. It may sting a little at first, but I promise it will work. You can buy it at any pharmacy and there are always generic brands. I believe the name brand is LOTRIMIN AF.
Good luck and don't fret. It will feel better soon and it happens to the best!!!

RE:
Raw Butt Crack?
I'm sorry to be so blunt about this but my butt crack is red, raw, and scabby. I had diahhrea for about 2 weeks and all the wiping has left it like this. I have tried neosporin and destin (for diaper rash). It hurts so bad and is bloody when I wipe. What can I do????

Try an ointment called "Triple paste". You have to ask the pharmacist for it--it's expensive but it's used for babies and it's great.
Before you use it, take a warm bath with baking soda to neutralize any acid remaining. Then, particularly if you have the privacy, give it a good air drying--then apply the Triple Paste.
You'll be better right away.
Good luck and I hope you feel better.

Wipe with a moist towel, moist tissue paper or a non-alcohol baby wipe. Maybe you could try bactene?
Also, you should not have diarehaa for 2 weeks. Have you considered going to the doctor?

See a doctor. You are now to the realm of needing a prescription. You have probably developed a serious infection that could easily spread and worsen your condition even further. It is also not good that you had diahhrea for so long...the combination sounds like some internal problem that is manifesting in ways that clearly need a doctors attention. I understand your need for reassurance from any source possible, but take advice given several times already.....GO SEE A DOCTOR>>>NOW!

You really need to see a doctor. It isn't normal to have scabbing even after 2 weeks of diarrhea. The doctor can prescribe a stronger topical painkiller as well as an oral one.
Please see a doctor soon. I'm sure they would see you today. You don't want to risk any more of an infection that you possibly have already because then your problems are going to get much, much worse.
