I was taking 20mg of lexapro once a day, and it really helped. My insurance stoped covering it so they tried me on paxil, zoloft, effexor, and prozac. The only one that worked for depression was the lexapro. I am wondering about what to get for the anxiety attacks--the lexapro does not stop those. I cannot take xanax. Would valium be appropriate to take when I feel a panic attack comming on.

We went to an Ob/Gyn who did an annual exam and now the insurance company won't pay for the visit and says the doctor billed everything wrong. The doctor says take it up with the insurance company. The insurance company says take it up with the doctors office. And we just keep getting bills for $2000 for an annual exam! What do we do? We can't afford that at all. We are just students. Is there someone out there that can help fix this? Is there a service like the Better Business Bureau for medical practices?

Nutritionists, medical doctors, natural health gurus bamboozle us to no end about "omega-3 fatty acids..", "the surgeon general has determined.." , "triglycerides & HDL".

I am sure, people so much into statistics, and with such genius expertise in the extraction of "control group" data must have amply documented over the past decades the SIGNIFICANT good that their carefully controlled life style has done for them.

So, how much longer do these "control groups" live than you and I ?

Someone told me that even though most people can read and listen to music at the same time, it's bad for your brain. This kinda makes sense, because it can be hard to really focus on both at once. However, this person is not someone who is likely to know fact from myth, so can anyone clear this up for me?

I know it's bad. And sometimes it does hurt, but it's almost like I feel a sort of relief afterward. Is this a psychological thing? Is it even all that bad? Will I get arthritis? I drink TONS of milk. I just dont like that I pop/crack all the time. It's annoying.

This usually happens once or twice a month and has been going on for about a year now. I will totally be fine, and then I almost collapse of the cramps. Once I throw up or go to the bathroom a couple times, I'm cured, and feel perfectly normal. It is inconsistant with my period, so that has nothing to do with it. Also, my mom thought it might be food poisoning, but I can't think of any thing I've eaten that matches up with those days. I don't eat red meat and do not drink milk (I have practically no calcium in my diet)--could those have something to do with it??? Has anyone heard of anything like that?? I would appreciate comments please!
