I just got new neighbors on my block, 2 couples. One is an asian guy, black hair, brown eyes with a blond wife, with blue eyes. I was wondering what their kid's hair and eye color will be? the other couple is a hispanic man ,same hair and eyes as the asian guy, and his wife has red hair, and I think green eyes, im not sure. I was wondering what their kid's hair and eyes would be.
thanks

I've got a really bad cold and am trying to shake it. I take the dosage of NyQuil recommended on the bottle (2 TBSP, or 30 mL), and while it slightly allieviates my symptoms, it does NOT knock me out or really make me drowsy at all.

Does anyone have any speculations as to why? I'm a lightweight (about 101 lbs.), I don't drink heavily, I've never even used NyQuil before. Seeing as it's notorious for knocking people out for hours at a time, I'm wondering why I'm not getting the same effect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I used to take it before I got pregnant and now that I have had my baby, I want to start back up because it seemed to have a good effect on my mental health (made me calmer, etc.) Does anyone know along with the above questions, whether it is good for aging, sleep, weight loss, etc.

My BF cleaned out the basement- I was down there for fifteen minutes, mostly with a dust mask, but he sent me up when I started to sneeze.
We live in a town that was built on a swamp, by the way, so we do what we can to dehumidify, etc.
Anyway, I woke up twice this weekend with a faint feeling of stuffiness in my lungs, like constriction that I've had when bronchitis hit- but I haven't at all been sick...
Could mold really do that? Just a little bit? Not even enough to show up on the mask?

I don't know what made me think about it, but maybe a year ago I was feeling sick and tired (no pun intended) so I took my temperature to see if I had a fever. It was 97.2 deg. farenheit. I thought it was a mistake so I waited awhile and took it again. When I took it later, the second reading was 96.8 deg. farenheit. I assumed the thermometer was broken (one of the digital ones that goes under your tongue) and I had my mom check hers out. She was like 98.4 deg. farenheit. This had never happened before and hasn't happened since, but for some reason I was thinking about it today and I was wondering what could have caused it. It freaked me out because I had never heard of a temperature going as low as 96.8. It only happened this one time when I was sick and never before or since. Is this really weird? Only respond please if you have some medical knowledge (ie: a nurse, doctor, etc... ) or this has happened to you too. Thanks. :)

and thought it would be an interesting topic to post on here. Here is what the professor asked:

"In recent months there has been a new vaccine created and released by the FDA for use to prevent Human Papilloma Virus which is sexually transmitted and is known to cause at least 80% of cervical cancer in women.
The vaccine must be given to females before they become sexually active in order to be effective. Therefore it is recommended that girls be given the vaccine before they
turn 11 or 12 yrs old.
Just this past week the Texas Governor made an Executive Order that makes it state law that all girls in Texas aged 11 must be vaccinated with Gardasil.
If you had a daughter of this age, and the state mandated that you get her vaccinated, how would you feel about that? What questions would you like to know the answers to before you took her to be vaccinated?"

Hi, I just had an eye test today and I had no problem seeing with my left eye (20/20), but my right eye was absolutely terrible (70/20). Everything was so blurry and I could barely make out the 3rd row of letters! Together, with both eyes open, I have 20/20 vision.

I take the test every year and I pass with 20/20... What could have caused such a dramatic change in just a few months?

Could this be some kind of serious eye condition? I'm going to the doctor in a few days but I just wanted to know...

I get 8-9 hours of sleep per night, and I usually sleep fairly soundly. I've tried drinking warm milk and listening to soft music before going to sleep, and I avoid caffeine and sweets before going to sleep. I know I do not suffer from any sleeping disorders and I am looking for a non-medicated way to feel refreshed in the morning after sleeping.

It happened yesterday to my wife, who I had never seen crying before for physical pain, not even for kidney stones or when she broke her ankle.
For this reason I first though that she was jocking and I made fun of her, saying that crying is not needed for such a small thing.
Then I realized she was crying in earnest. In fact her toe was broken.
Anyway I wonder: how is possible that such a small thing could hurt so much to reduce to tears a mature woman (my wife is 41) who have never shed a single tears in her life because of physical pain? (at least since we met, 20 years ago)

Have you ever experienced something similar?
