If you've already gotten your period, that's about as tall as you're going to get. But if you haven't yet, you may get a little bit taller.
Some people are just shorter than others. Some tall, some medium, some short. If you're healthy, a reasonable weight, and in good shape, your height isn't an issue. It's more of a problem if you have, say, hormonal issues or skeletal issues that keep you from growing.
But you might just be on the short side of average. I've heard plenty of references to "shawt-ays" ("shorties")--you're a hot commodity!

Well, they are wrong by saying you could BE a 6th grader. Maybe you could pass for one, but that isn't the point. Ignore what people have to say. You can't be too short or too tall. I'm 19 and barley 5ft. It makes it hard to buy clothes and I get teased alot, but it's something to identify myself with. I use it to my advantage. I've met so many people and turned their teasing me about being short into a good thing. It's made me alot of friends. Just have confidence in yourself and don't let what people say bug you.

You've been borderline too short at times in the past -- most notably two Sundays ago and for a brief spell right around the second weekend into November. False alarm. Currently, you're just right.

No, you're not too short. You're still young and growing so you may get taller. And even if you don't, your height won't keep you back from anything you want to do. Remember, there are many people in the world MUCH shorter than you are and they live very fulfilling, content lives.

Honey I even 5ft at 13. And if that's all you grow let it be. Being short isn't all that bad. By the time you're 30 people will think you're younger because of how smallyou are.

ur short nut not too short.......i have friends that r 4'11 n they r 17.....they have learned to live with it........they actually like it becuz my friend jazmin is 4'11 n she has a boyfriend of 2 years thats 6'0 thats a big difference but they seem to love it plus u r young u havent developed n u have time to grow......when i was ur age i thought i was too tall because i've been 5'5' since i was 11 but now everyone is taller than me so i dont complain dont worry u wont feel short for too long

I am 33 and I am 4 foot 11 inches... THIS is short. You are fine.. you will grow until about age 18. Dont worry.

your only 13 relax. over time you should grow taller. im 15 and 5"3 . so your not short for your age

dont listen to them, just ignore them.
you are taller than i was at 13. i am just about 15 and just reached 5 ft. my doctor says i will only be 5'1'', so just ignore them, being short does have some advatanges. plus you are not as short as some ppl, like dwarves, they are nice ppl even tho they are short.
