I get 8-9 hours of sleep per night, and I usually sleep fairly soundly. I've tried drinking warm milk and listening to soft music before going to sleep, and I avoid caffeine and sweets before going to sleep. I know I do not suffer from any sleeping disorders and I am looking for a non-medicated way to feel refreshed in the morning after sleeping.

get on a regular exercise routine. join a gym and first work with a trainer. eat the right foods for your life and stay away from chemicals. even sodas can mess you up. and drink enough good water and meet quality people who don't stress you for their pleasure.

Have you tried any breathing exercises? I have found that this calms me and makes me ready for sleep. Has anyone ever commented on you snoring? I ask this because if you are not breathing properly while sleeping it could cause you to never reach REM sleep due to waking regularly.
Good Luck and God Bless.

You can take a nice hot shower in the morning, that usually helps me. (jackie she's not talking about weight loss)
