I'm 21 and I am not a morning person - really never have been. But unlike all my previous semesters, I have to be up at either 8 or 830 each morning. This means I need to go to bed at 1200 or 1230 am if I want a full night's sleep.

Problem is, I'm never tired at 1200 or 1230 and I've been waking up significantly more tired than when I went to bed. I spend the day basically dragging my rear around because I'm tired and that is not fun.

I sleep much better and feel so much better when I can go to bed at 130, 200 or later and get up at 930, 1000 or later. People have been telling me I've been moody and short-tempered this week, perhaps a testament to being tired.

Any ideas or suggestions? Maybe it has something to do w/ my body clock?

Last night i met up with some old friends and I got pretty drunk (more than I usually do). Today I have been feeling light headed and having this feeling that i'm going to faint. I also get this numb/weak sensation sometimes in my legs/arms. I have been drinking a lot of water. Could this be serious? Usually when I have a hangover I get a headache and nausea but today i feel like my whole body/system is out of whack. Any ideas/suggestions?

When would a patient experience symptoms after eating improperly refrigerated tuna sandwich? Two hours? Five hours? More? The information I'm finding online seem to say "within 48 hours". Can somebody give me a more specific expectation? Thanks

I am far sighted due to age. I want to not have to wear reading glasses. My doctor says one eye could be operated on for close up vision, and the other left alone for far away vision. I have 20/30 vision in both eyes right now, and I'm wondering if this surgery is safe and effective and worth the money. Surgery on my eyes kind of worries me.

I take Thyroxine, I have done for many years, in the past I have monitored myself and increase or decreased the dose to suite my requirements.
I have been experiencing palpitations, and have reduced my dose, I wanted to know how long it takes the system to flush the dosage of Thyroxine tablets, so I could stop taking Thyroxine, clear the system, then restart at a low dosage and build up to where I feel the dose is correct then have a test to see if my feeling matches the correct T4 level.

My daughter is 4 months old. When she was born her pediatritian noticed that the skin on her lower back did not close all the way. It is right above where the crack of her bottom starts. It is about the size of the tip of a Q-tip maybe a little larger. They did an ultrasound in the hosp. before she was discharged and it came back negative for anything wrong. After getting her home my mom was changing her and while wiping her bottom noticed she has a boney something down where her spine ends like her spine is too long. I mentioned it to the Dr. and he played it off as nothing since her ultrasound came up negative. I am taking her to get a second opinion but want to know if anyone knows what this could be??? It really concerns me. I pointed it out to the nurse today during her 4 mo physical and the nurse even agreed that it was strange. I am definitly taking her to another Dr. I just want to know what I'm in for if anyone has experienced this before. Thanks for your response!

I had my belly button pierced in July. It is healing fine. But the sensitive skin around the piercing has gotten very dry this Winter. What can I do about it; without risking infection?
