It's pneumonia. There are no sure preventions other than distance. Be sure to stay as far from your father as you can until he is better. Lots of vitamin C could help though. Citrus fruits and green leafy veggies. You might try vitamin C tablets, and some extra zinc can help build up your immune system.

Make sure that you wash your hands as most germs are transmitted by touching something that has been exposed by droplets of the person infected. These germs are passed by sneezing and coughing. Just eat well and get lots of sleep and do all the things that are recommended to stay healthy. I think that it is awesome that you are taking care of yourself so well, you are an amazing girl and your parents must be proud of you. God bless.

Pneumonia can be a viral or bacterial infection in your lungs. I think normal taking care of yourself can help. Eat healthy, get enough vitamins and minerals, enough rest and exercise. Bundle up when you go outside in the cold. If you get a cold or the flu, treat the symptoms and contact the doctor if your symptoms get worse so he/she can monitor you more closely.

You mean pneumonia, the lung disease? See your doctor. Maybe a temporary regimen of antibiotics is advisable. Pneumonia is curable, unlike even the common cold. Eat plenty of vegetables, and echinacea, garlic, and medicinal mushrooms might help. Just go to >www.google.com< and type "immune system boosters", then "I feel lucky", for more information.

well, Since pneumonia is respiratory, it can only really be transferred to you through your lungs and breathing in the germs.Have your mom buy some of those disposable masks and wear one when ever your in the house till this gets all cleared up.Its not a guaranteed prevention but it will certainly lower your risk substantially.

It's PNEUMONIA. If you are a cancer survivor, you ABSOLUTELY need to get a pneumonia vaccine. Call your doctor now.
