Softening ear wax in blocked ears

A person close to me keeps telling me that he will not get sick because he tells himself so. I keep hearing 'it is all in your head', not aimed towards me in particular when I am sick, but in general. Can a person keep him/herself from getting sick by their thoughts alone? Since he has started saying that about a month ago, he has not been ill whereas usually if I get sick, so does he and vice versa. Also, my oldest child truly very very rarely is sick. I cannot remember the last time he had even a runny nose. Hmmmm...

Is there anyway to force yourself to swallow pills? Even when I use that cup thing my throat, or back o fmouth like, spit it back out (for lack of better description) It's really uncomfertable, and my Mom yells and lectures each time I cough it back up.... help?

I've tried blowing and all that, and it isnt cool! I've asked my friends, family, google, yahoo, anything, and im finding no results of what im looking for. I keep on finding how to sneeze, but they're saying something like "How to sneeze--When you feel a sneeze coming, arch your back and..." and thats not what I want. Please help me!

When I go from a bright place to a dark place, I get extremely drowsy, like I'm going to pass out. Sometimes, this is accompanied by dizziness and a feeling of fainting. My doctor checked various viruses, my thyroid, and blood sugar, so all of that is ok. But, the idea came to me when I saw somebody taking pictures. The flash made me think this might be epilepsy. Is it?

I occasionally have a dream where i'm being hugged so tightly that I can't breathe, or just generally have trouble breathing. Could this be caused by actually having difficulty breathing while sleeping ?

I went to the ER today, waited for 4 hours . They took down my name, birthdate and name of my doctor only. They also typed in the computer the reason why i was there. During the wait, I felt better and asked them to take me off the list and left. I asked the lady if they will still bill me /insurance she said she doesnt know. Does anyone have this answer? Thanks

I have white spots in the back of my throat and pain below my chest bone. Im not sure what's wrong.. could it be acid reflux? The only spicy food I've eaten was over a week ago. It's also painful to swallow. What's the deal? Are there any over the counter meds to help or should i get a perscription?

Well I wanted to get my belly done before march. Should I and will it hurt? I'm about 5'5 and weigh 120 and I have a nice flat tummy. My friend said it will hurt and I won't be able to have sex because of the way I'll have to lay down and stuff. I'm skinny person, but my stomach is getting huge and I'm not pregnant. I went to the doctors, had a blood work done. Everything is ok with my liver, kidneys and everything else. I had a ultrasound and it's also came back normal. After that the doctor didn't ask for anymore tests. I don't think I'm just getting fat because only my stomach isgetting big. Does anyone had a similar experience?
