Well I wanted to get my belly done before march. Should I and will it hurt? I'm about 5'5 and weigh 120 and I have a nice flat tummy. My friend said it will hurt and I won't be able to have sex because of the way I'll have to lay down and stuff. I'm going to FL for spring break therefore I wanted to ask this question and how soon should i get it?

okay, to all of the people who keep saying its gonna kill, shuttup!. you dont know what your talking about and probably have never had it done... cause honestly it really doesnt hurt that bad. and im about the biggest wuss youll ever meet when it comes to needless. the clamp they put on hurts more than the needle... the needle just feels weird... and trust me its worth it anywayss.

i got it done 5 days ago and passed out about 4 times even though i was laying down (i dont do well with blood and needles.. i got my 2nd wholes in my ears peirced in 4th grade and passed out too. so i pretty much knew what was coming)

but really, it doesnt hurt as bad as you think it wwill.. and mine didnt bleed at all.

From what my sister tells me, it didn't hurt anymore than like having a bee sting you. But, hers was constantly infected and she had to let hers close up. Too bad to, because hers looked awesome. She had such a beautiful flat tummy and she had a really pretty diamond stud in it. Along with her tan, you couldn't beat the look! So, just be careful. She followed all the rules and the instructions they gave her about keeping it clean, etc, it just kept getting infected. I have heard several other people say that they loved their piercings, but that they were always infected, too. It might be because during the week, they had to wear clothes that covered it up and maybe the clothes irritated it. Who knows! But, anyway, best of luck with your piercing! Hope all goes well with it.

I had one done - and the pain is no different to having ears pierced.
But I regret it now a bit because I had to take it out for work (i'm a cop) and now it's left a little hole were it was pierced. It doesnt look overly ugly - but it's annoying if you know what I mean?

According to my sister who has multiple piercings, it doesn't hurt. BUT it all depends on your pain tolerance, and plus, it'll be done in a second anyway. Good Luck

Why do people want to do this?

It is actually UGLY!!!

Yes it will hurt, and if you ever have a baby, it will have to be removed, and will grow back together.
Save the pain & the money---don't do it!
