I need ways to get rid of all my stress because it has taken its toll on me and no matter what I try it won't go away. I don't feel like the same person and I need help finding a solution. Please don't say yoga or meditating because those DON'T work whatsoever for me.

Im in my 50's ..My life up until a year ago was a happy one..confident and easy going..I never worried about anything. We went through a major historic event Katrina..much like many other people do.It happens..I was ok,the family ok.and things in better shape than most..We were the lucky ones.We moved to a place where we are over a mile and one half higher...and much like the Anartica..I loved it .I always wanted to experience a place much like this.We were here and busy for over six months, and even traveled many miles across the country to check on our children..We came back and settled in spending more time at home than I have ever ,and sleeping during the day and staying awake at night.I slipped into a depression about being so rural..and sleeping days was weird..As time progressed I lost weight when not trying.. and then the physical symptoms slipped in.I had very odd sensations and feelings..Not altitude sickness just bizarre things.I was checked by several doctors..continued down.

I can't understand why people can't let go of this psychological comfort blanket. How could there be so many religions in history? Why was Jesus sent so recently, war is way older than Jesus?

Let me try this on you: Jesus, great father, great brother, great... lover?

When I cry(which is usually because I never get listened to by anyone), I have a really bad migraine, that stops me from crying, but hurts terribly. This happens about once a week. I don't have a lot of friends, and I get teased a lot. I don't like getting out of the house a lot, and I have Social Phobia. Would there be something mentally wrong with me?

I'm getting panic attacks regularly. I'm sure it's a panic disorder. I get confused when this happens at school and become blank. I cannot share this with anybody at school as no one understands. I'm 14 and I dunno when this will stop. I feel suicidal. I feel there is no cause to my living if all my life i have to suffer this. Panic attacks are a nightmare and I need support. I've been to emergency about a hundred times thinking this was something else.
I get a panic attack whenever I think about my last panic attack. I feel like it's happening due to exam stress. My exams start day after tomorrow. Final exams! Can you suggest a useful procedure that I can carry out during a panic attack at home? I havent consulted a psychologist yet. I can't sleep at night. I feel like im gonna faint or i'm dying. This is the worst thing that can happen to u. Please respond if you are experienced and u know what a panic attack is.
HELP! coz i'm sooo helpless.

I was thinking this might help me. I just can't seem to get out of bed these days, and given any chance, will head back to sleep any time of day. My mood in quite low and so is my energy. I need to start feeling like I want to face the world again. Thanks for your input.

How this function might be affected by cognitive impairment. How might you, as a personal support worker, assist this person with this difficulty?

Does anyone keep a journal? I was thinking about writing in a journal because sometimes I get depressed, and I thought it would be good to write down some things to get them out. What do people write about in thier journals? Does it help to write it down?

Wickedness, injustice, grief, pessimism, trouble, loneliness, fear, stress, frustration, distrust, unscrupulousness, anxiety, rage, jealousy, resentment, drug addiction, immorality, gambling, prostitution, hunger, poverty, social corruption, theft, war, struggle, violence, oppression, fear of death… News about these issues appear in the newspapers and on TV every day. The popular press devotes entire pages to these subjects, while others serialise articles about their psychological and social aspects. However, our acquaintance with these feelings is not limited solely to the press; in daily life, we, too, frequently come across such problems and, more importantly, personally experience them.
People and societies endeavour to liberate themselves from the distressing experiences, disorder and repressive social structures that have prevailed over the world for long periods
