It's winter... your body wants to hibernate.
I've got a job and I feel tired all the time, though it's call centre work, not physical at all. Do yourself a favour and regester at a job hunting site online, then the employers will come to you and you can spend a few days eating soup and ironing your suit!

Being out of work is incredibly stressful -- my guess is that you are either exhausted from all that stress, or you are suffering from depression. Both of those things can radically sap your energy.
Some ways to combat this would be to make sure you are eating a healthy diet and drinking enough water (dehydration also leads to fatigue). And try to add some exercise to your daily routine. A brisk 30-minute walk most days of the week is not only good for your body, but it helps increase your energy and has been proven effective in battling depression as well. If you are eating well and already exercising and the chronic fatigue persists, see a doctor for a complete medical exam just to be on the safe side.
Hang in there, and good luck with the job hunt!

That happens to me when I eat sugar. First, I get a lot of energy, then, it crashes and I feel exhausted, more than before I ate any. I found the best way for me to have energy is to eat small meals, fruits, vegetables, throughout the day. Also, I have more energy on the days I get some exercise. A nice long walk in the evening is a good way to end the day. It helped me to cut out the caffiene entirely.

Maybe you need more exercise.
Are you getting enough sleep? Perhaps you need to check the quality of the sleep you're getting? Do you snore?
But then again, too much sleep can make you tired.
Are you eating right? Do you take vitamins?
Do you take any medication that might have tiredness as a side effect?
These are a few things you need to consider.

Could be you are stressed out over having to seek new employment, there is a lot of stress attached to un-employment.
Starting over in any endeavor can be stressful, to say nothing of the no current income stress you have piled on you right now.
My thinking is you are not sleeping very well right now.. You may think you are, but in reality you have so much on your mind a peaceful nights sleep is out of reach.
There are natural sleep remedies out there, check out your local drug store's vitamin isle.
Good Luck

You're probably feeling stressed and depressed because of your current situation. Try not to worry about it, stick to a healthy diet and exercise. When you get another job, which of course you will very soon, you'll start to feel better.

You are probably bored and unmotivated, thats how I felt when out of work - you need to do something to stimulate you. What do you enjoy doing what doesnt cost much? Make yourself go out and do it! whether swimming, walking, sorting out your clothes - think of it as making the most of your spare time before you start work again, then you've turned a negative "out of work" approach into a positive "do more of this before I start work again" Good luck in finding a job.

Most likely you are overwhelmed and stressed over finding a job. That can be a very stressful and discouraging thing to do. Also you may be anticipating starting the new job, which can also really stress you out.

yea I could be depression or poor diet or just being in the house all day. Make yourself get up early like if you were going to work and go to sleep at normal hours, maybe try vitamins or going for a walk in the morning.
