Most information says these types of drugs take up to 2 weeks to begin to help. I, however, felt a difference within a couple of days, much like you do now. The side effects took a couple of weeks to wear off, but the mood effects were almost immediate. I wouldn't describe myself as a zombie, but I was pretty unscathed by most things. That will change a little too and you will have more emotion but it will be easier to control.

I was on Zoloft for about a year or so, maybe longer. The side affects are what you mentioned, and it also slows down your sex drive. It takes about 2 weeks to really take affect on your depression. You'll know, because you'll all of a sudden feel a whole lot better, you'll be able to laugh, not cry, and you'll be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The fatigue actually goes away about the same time it starts actually working for you. Also you might check into the fact you may be allergic to Zoloft, or something in the make up of Zoloft, as some of the affects you have listed, and esp. since you just started on them, sounds like an allergic reaction to Zoloft, check with your doctor.

Congratulations- you have just used drugs to alter your brain chemistry and are now high! Whooooo
Ok, I'm being sarcastic. Side effects usually last until your brain has been altered, about 2 weeks. You probably can't get mad at anything at the moment because you're psyched up, thinking Zoloft is a new cure. Wait 2-4 weeks-- whatever used to get you mad will still be there, but you'll be too stoned to care.

it depends on your body chemistry 2 - 6 weeks is what they say however you may feel it's effects immediately it won't be in your system completely for a while zoloft tends to be a pill you need to take everyday because it only stays about 24 hours if your body doesn't get that 2-6 week adjustment so try to remember to take it everyday and if the sideeffects get to be to much for you call the doc there are plenty of alternatives.

Actually Zoloft doesn't fully take effect until about one month after starting it. As far as the side effects....give them time, they may disappear after a while. Otherwise you just learn to live with them.
