The most important step that we can take to reduce stress is to recognize that the way we are choosing to view the situation is what is causing the stress, not the situation itself. Thing happen, it's how we learn to accept these thing and make the best of them that elevates the stress we feel/create. This is a difficult concept to let go of. It is a great comfort to see the cause of our discomfort as being externally generated. It removes all responsibility from us. Strips us of all of our power and leaves us a hapless victim. What nonsense. love and blessings Don

One of the best ways for me to reduce stress is with deep breathing. This works well in a pinch and it's easy to do. Just take a minute or two to breathe in to the slow count of 5 and then breathe out the same way. Don't rush it or force your breathing. Just count to 5 slowly as you breathe in, then count to 5 slowly as you breathe out.

Do this until your body begins to relax and your mind starts to settle. Take care :)

Slow down your breathing by taking long deep breaths, you'll slow down the stressful reaction too.

You're actually feeling like you do because you're not allowing stress to be experienced.
So long as you don't feel this, it will persist. Feel it!
