Okay. So I got up from the computer yesterday and it felt like my hip was out of place. Today it still feels that and hurts me when I walk and try to move my leg all that much. Do you know if there is a reason for this?

I also do not have a fever, I have a normal body temperature. The weather isn't hot and I'm a slim person, so I never really sweat. I've never had this before, what can be the cause of this?

I'm going to list my symptoms.. I'm going crazy. I don't know what's wrong with me and it makes me so upset.

-Mid-back pain
-Lower abdominal pain on left and right side -- when they come they are sharp and stabbing -- but are only there for a few seconds at a time. The doc found a small complex cyst on my left ovary but is deciding to "wait it out" 3 more months before doing an ultra sound and wants me to go on birth control..but I don't think that's what's causing the pain as it is on both sides of my abdomen.
-Lately (past 5 months) chronic sinus problems -- 2 infections and right now congestion/cold-ish symptoms that I've had for what feels like forever (2 weeks) -- although I do have allergies.
-Shoulder joints hurt when I wake up, and have been randomly burning throughout the day along with my hip..
-Whenever I hit a bone on my hand, it hurts so easily and more than it ever did before.

I seriously am soo confused. Could it be previous antibiotics causing problems?

This morning right when I got out of the shower I lifted my towel to dry my hair (sort of quickly) and got an extreme pain suddenly in my neck/left shoulder. It has not yet gone away it hurts very badly especially when I turn my neck past a certain point and look down. I have taken acetaminophen and it helped relieve the pain but not much.

any suggestions?
thanks

I've been having a really bad mouth problem since a root canal (1 week ago exactly today). The problem was not the root canal (the pain from that is very minor to what I'm experiencing now).

I've already gone to my doctor about this & a walk-in clinic for a second opinion and definetly did not get what I was looking for. I've chewed out a huge chunk of my cheek, therefor I'm massively swollen and infected on one side. It's getting so bad now that the gland on that side is the side of a golf ball, my throat is infected, tongue puffy & sores on it, nose stuffy and eye watering constantly (all and only on that one side).

They gave me aspirin & a swab to put freezing gel on it (which makes it worse cause then I chew on it more). I hate doctors here now! --Idiots.

My mum gave me a bottle of percocets: Which I'm now out of & didn't find they helped much for pain.
Went through a bottle of T3's and advil same effect.

Anymore advice? PLEASE!
Preferably not prescribed: Doc. = Retarded.

I have thick heavy hair. It is not usually tender to brush or fix. Every so often I get a sore spot in my head. Almost like what people get when they have had their hair in a tight pony tail.

I am having this problem right now but my hair has been down all day. What could be causeing my head to be tender?

This is not a question I appologize if thats a problem but I just thought I would give out a suggestion that was given to me by my neighbor on a home made heating pad. I have neck and upper back pain due to multi car accidents and when I was 7 was run over by a car so I live with pain alot. The worst is the neck pain. Well my neighbor one day seen me in so much pain and the meds where not helping so she suggested that I take a big bag of white (cheap) rice and put it in a tube sock, tie it off and microwave it for 2 min on high. This is awsome because I do not have to lay down on the bed to use a heating pad even if I owned one, it lays nice on my neck or flattens out if I lay down on it on my spine. So I thought I would share this suggestion for anyone wanting a confortable easily manipulated heating pad.

Every time I wake up, I have severe lower back pain. I am a healthy 30-year old male. When I wake up, I feel like my back has been arched the entire night. Like if I am lying face up, you could slide your hand between my lower back and the mattress. I have tried sleeping with pillow under my knees, but it doesn't help. I have a Classic (original) Tempurpedic Mattress that is about 1.5 years old.
An hour or 2 after I wake up, the pain and soreness subsides. I don't like taking many medications or pills. I have been doing lots of stretching, but still does not help that much.

WHAT CAN I DO????

I recently had shoulder surgery. My doctor has me taking 10/650 of vicodin every 4 hours...in additon to soma. This seems like a very high dosage to take so often...and I'm still in pain. Any comments?

I am a 24 year old Male. Over the last 1yrs or so I have had numerous problems with my back. I sought chiropractic care but eventually I had to stop that due to $$ reasons. Recently in the last 3-4 Months the pain has became constant. Some times worse than others. I work at a Job where I am at a desk all day. Half way through the day I am in so much pain in My back and my neck . I have seen my primary doctor and he recommended physical therpy. I have started physical therapy , my therapist says that I have 2 curves in my spine and that one leg is 1 1/4 inches longer than the other(talk about giving someone a complex). I am still in pain daily and it gets so mad at work that I want to cry at times because I have no choice but to stay there and take the pain. The doctor has perscribed Tramadol and a muscle relaxer which slightly helps at times but not close to enough. Please help, Anyone know any good, sympathetic doctors around Portland,ME or any advise would help thank you
