I gather from Ur other questions Ur goin to need something like what I say below.
I recommend morphine or oxycotin the morphine is a lot cheaper if price matters. Roxycodone is real good for a breakthru drug, it’s better than hydrocodone (lorcetts or loratabs) Soma is a kick a$$ muscle relaxer. I’m on this due to chronic spine disease that I'm in pain management for.
Best wishes

The doctor will prescribe the lowest painkiller possible. Any of them can cause addiction, so be careful. Possibly lortab they will order. If it does not work then the doctor will prescribe something stronger (percocet, oxycodone). Good luck

It won't be necessary for you to ask for a specific painkiller.
They will prescribe what is best for your pain. If you go in there asking for something in particular, they will thing you are seeking the pills for another reason. Trust me, I found this out the hard way.
Good Luck with your surgery.

It really does depend on the source of the pain. Some are better than others for certain types of pain.
