okay so i have shin splints but im afraid that they might be something more serious, like a stress fracutre.

i started spring track like a month ago, and a couple days into it, i would have pain in my shins (but not severe pain)

BUT NOW.... the pain is so severe that i can hardly walk.
the pain is severe at the beginning of a run, but then moderate in the middle and then even more severe at the end.....

HELPPPPPPP idk what to do
ive been going to my school trainer and getting my shins taped everyday but they have only gotten worse. ive also been icing and heating them but nothing seems to help
he says i should stop track all together BUT i dont want to...
**PLEASE HELP (that would be much appreciated)**

I recently had an extensive MRI done, after which I developed a severe migrane type headache sobad I am vomiting. Is this anything to be concerned about? Does an MRI cause such things to happen? Thanks!

A couple of months ago I started getting charlie horses in my foot every couple of days. In the past week or so it has increased to several times a day. It is sooooo painful and I don't know how to stop them. I think it's probably really dangerous too when my right foot cramps up while I'm driving.. anyone else have them and know what causes them/what you do to stop them?? thanks ahead of time =)

I have recently moved in with a friend and the mattress I've been sleeping on is foam. It was originally comfortable, but now after several weeks I have been waking up with lower back pain. This resolves quite quickly, but I don't want it to get worse. I have also noticed that it is very indented where I have slept. This can't be good when I change positions during the night can it? I am also a very restless sleeper. What do you suggest in regards to this or an appropriate mattress? I don't want anyone trying to sell me any fancy mattresses as I can't afford this, just want advice! Also, I am only in my late 20's and a slightly overweight - but not obese. Thanks in advance!!

After walking about 15-20 minutes, my lower back starts to feel very sore and weak. It goes away if I sit down but then starts again when I walk. What's causing this and is there anything I can do to prevent it? Thanks!

I have been having some pain, but mainly a numb sort of tingling in what feels to be the muscle underneath my right shoulder blade. Has anyone had this before? If so, what was the diagnosis and treatment?

i've had an accident on my mountain bike in which i landed very hard on my shoulder, i've been x rayed and been to the doctor, im gettin two different views on how i should be caring for my very pain full shoulder, even though its not broken or disclocated, some say put your arm in a sling and rest it,while other people say keep it moving to avoid a frozen shoulder. what do i do? also what is a frozen shoulder?

My shoulder has been sore for over a month now. It hurts especially when I am lifting or opening a door (pushing). The only thing I can think of what I did to it is back in mid-February I was running around and fell onto that shoulder, rolled and got back up. I thought maybe I bruised it, but it is lasting for a long time now. Could I have done something worse to it than just bruising?

Any tips on how to get rid of a headache? Just curious. I don't get many, but when I do they are SO bad and all I want to do is sleep. But going to sleep isn't always possible at the time. Just wondering if anyone knows any at home tricks to cure the ache.
