depends on what you are treating. Advil is Ib Profen. It works good for fevers and aches and pains. Aleve is Naproxen.....i would say it is more geared towards muscles, aches, pains. Both are anti-inflammatory.

For me and my fam Advil seems to work better. Not only does it start to work right away. It seems to keep working for about 6 hours or so. It also depends on whether you have pains internaly or externaly. It might just depend on your age and weight too. If you feel like one pill doesn't work. Ask your doctor for a stronger aspirin and pain releaver.

For me Advil has always worked better.

Sorry to bust your buibble, but you aren't goign to get a good answer here. Every drug acts differently in different people. Enough so, that the only way you are going to know is try them each and just see what does better.
