When i do resistance exercises in aqua aerobics my left knee starts to feel spongey and weak. I dont suffer from Arthritis or usually have joint problems. Any ideas what this is?

speak with your doctor, they will take a look at it for you, it could be fluid inside, or something irritating it.

Depends what you mean by spongey. Does it feel as if you have a build-up of fluid in the knee joint? I would stop the exercises if I were you. If you don't have arthritis now you will have in the future. Depressing!

If the 'spongy' feeling is to the side of the knee it could be Contributed Weak vastus muscle group. You should consult you sports injury technician or a physiotherapist.
