a frozen shoulder is inflammation of the tendons or the fibrous capsule tissue or the swelling of the soft sac that surrounds the shoulder blade. If you do not move the shoulder blade because of pain or discomfort the problem will get worse. The best cure is physio exercises, turning the shoulder blade in a rotation movement every half hour slowly building up the period of exercises. Deep heat cream or hot baths or showers will help, if using a shower direct the shower head on to the sore part so that it invigorates blood movement and stimulates the muscle, you can also try eucalyptus or rosemary oil, rubbing into the sore part.small doses

In 1980 i had a bad fall on my left shoulder,i lost the use of my arm for nearly 18 months,i had broken the nerves in my arm, this did result in a frozen shoulder,i had to have treatment for over a year, the shoulder joint dries up and can sort of join together,i was told that i would never use my left arm again. It took about 3 years before i gained nearly full use of my arm .I am now a 11 handicap golfer. You need proper help to over come this, and that should come from your doctor.

The shoulder joint is an unstable joint and is enclosed in a bag.
When this shrinks it causes a lot of pain.

It has happened to me twice and is excruciating.
Stay away from the doctor, they sent me to the sadists at the hospital who did even more damage.
See a real sports coach.
Do not try to lift your arms above your head.
Lean forward with a bag of sugar in the hand of the injured shoulder, Describe back and forth, side to side and circular movements.
slowly increase the range of movement.
It worked twice for me.
