I have been having some pain, but mainly a numb sort of tingling in what feels to be the muscle underneath my right shoulder blade. Has anyone had this before? If so, what was the diagnosis and treatment?

You MAY have a strained or pulled muscle. You can get these sometimes without recalling a specific incident that caused it. At times, the muscle/s involved tighten or spasm causing the 'numb' sensation. Try a heating pad and/or and over the counter anti-inflammatory such as ibuprofen. Back muscle strains/pulls can take up to several months to heal. Also, physical therapy can be helpful. Good luck! You might also want to consult your physician if it doesn't go away or gets worse......Good luck!

I wish I had this 2 years ago when I damaged my rotator cuff while showing off. This is very detailed and really gives you the techniques you need to sort out your own shoulder issues and a lot more info such as preventing further injuries. If you have a shoulder keeping you awake at night you'll know it's no laughing matter.
