Just wondering, as I JUST found a great family doc, that has a great degree, assistant Professor of Medicine, and treats me as a person, not a number. He is really interested in me! He is taking care of me, as with Pain Management (I also see a Pain Management Specialist) as he just adds some things as they do work together in the same group, and he also is starting to help me with Psychiatrist, as my old ones thing I am a drug addict, as I take pain meds for severe, Chronic pain, in my lower back and nerve damage in my left leg. MY Family Doc, understands me, believes me, and knows my pain specialists, and knows he is one of the best and that they do count all your medications when you come to visit (which is a plus!) and they also check your pee for any other drugs (that helps me out, as only thing they will find is the meds they give me! LOL!) So, I do love my NEW Family Doc and Pain Specialists, and glad they know each other as with them working together can only benefit ME!

Two quick jabs in between the breastbone and left chest.
I've had some piercing feeling in the upper right part of my chest some time ago too.
Only 22 years old
Pretty fit I guess up until a few months ago when I had to stop weight training, now I gained a serious amount of weight but meh... Now I can't get off this chair coz I'm in front of the PC all the time
I'm not too sure if it was a heart attack as I didn't any abnormalities on my left side (hand tingles etc)

What could this be?

I like some certain of pain. I'm 14, by the way. Lately, i carved my skin using a knife, and I feel pain (of course), and I enjoy it. Also, my left pinky, doesnt have a nail. This is because I took it out, because I wanted to feel it. I feel relief having the pain, and relief after the pain. Sure, the pain is quite unbearable, but I enjoy it. Like putting the hot wax of a candle at my thigh, arm, and fingers. I know I should stop, and I'm trying. But it doesnt really go that well. I want to know why do i like pain, and how can I stop liking it. Please tell me.

I have been using kadian 80 mg , but our pharmasist never had it in stock so she would have to write me a 60 and a 20 2 x daily for chronicpain , so I go use to taking 4 pills total a day , ffinaly our pharmacy finaly started carrying the 80 mil. so I am only supposed to take 1 in the morning and one at night, I also have to take phenergan for the nausiea , and klonpin for my agoraphobia , lyesterday I got confused and took my normal 4 pills a day , i woke up this morning with a high fever and severe chills my chest was hurting , but now i seem to be ok , I was just wondering has this happened to anyone else?

I've tried EVERYTHING. Nothing helps. Not water (I drink MORE than eight glasses a day sometimes), not eating prunes, not fiber (every day, yet again), not laxatives, not softeners, not vegetables, nor fruits. I went to the emergency room yesterday because the pain in my abdomen was so bad, and after five hours of waiting and apparently useless tests, they sent me home with a laxative. Again.

I don't know what to do, and I can't stop crying because it hurts so much. I haven't gone to the bathroom in a week. Someone help.

In January I had stomach problems with pain and cramping which the doctors thought was a virus so i haven't had the pains bad in a few weeks but now over the last two or more weeks i have terrible neck pain and stiffness. The pain is also in my lower back. In addidtion to this pain i am lightheaded. I also get headaches which can get worse accross the back of my head and temples sometimes. Went to doctor (neurologist) and he said to get pshyical therapy...doesn't really fix the problem i'm having does it...so any ideas of what the cause of my problm is?

You feel no pain at all, even with a broken bone. You don't know you have to go to the restroom, or that your fingers are freezing in the outside cold. On the upside, no pregancy or labor pains.

I am currently 18 years old, and I am prescribed 80mg Oxycontin tablets. I am to take 1 at 12 am, and 1 at 12pm, this is 160mgs of Oxycodone daily, an extremely LARGE dosage. I take them for a powdered wrist, which resulted from a machinery incident, which means all the bone in my wrist was completely turned to powder. I don't want to take all this medicine, but as you're all probrably aware the pain will make me literally blackout if I don't take medication, and even ON medication it's barely tolerable. Please help!?!

At work 2 weeks ago, i was putting some rubbish in a bin and i heard a big crack in my shoulder. Nothing happened for about 4 days then it felt a bit sore, i realised the crack caused it. It wasnt too much of a problem, just felt like i slept on it the wrong way or something. 3 days after that i felt the nerve inside my left shoulderblade really being pinched & the pain went all the way down my arm into my little finger. I've been to a chiroprachtor twice, got my shoulder cracked in etc. after the first visit, it was fine for about 4 days, at work im constantly moving my arms around and occasionally lifting things, i've tried not to though. Then the pain came back, i went for a second visit a week later, it was fine for a week and a half but now its come back again. I'm wondering what to do now, someone suggested a deep massage might relieve the tension there, will it get rid of the clicking sound thats in my shoulder ? i have a constant need to want to crack it, i dont know what 2 do.
