Two quick jabs in between the breastbone and left chest.
I've had some piercing feeling in the upper right part of my chest some time ago too.
Only 22 years old
Pretty fit I guess up until a few months ago when I had to stop weight training, now I gained a serious amount of weight but meh... Now I can't get off this chair coz I'm in front of the PC all the time
I'm not too sure if it was a heart attack as I didn't any abnormalities on my left side (hand tingles etc)

What could this be?

When you have pains in your chest, more than likely it has nothing to do with your heart. Its almost always with the lungs. I get the pains sometimes too, they are nothing to worry about, they are pretty much always normal, go to the docs and have them check it out

Try getting up off the couch and away from the computer and go to a doctor to find out. It could be absolutely nothing, like heartburn of some sort, or it could be something serious. You have gained weight, never a good thing. It's time to get it off. Find some safe way.

It coule be a panic attack. Those often feel like a heart attack. Are you anxious about something? Doctors can't do much for a panic attack except give you some anxiety meds and recommend psychotherapy.

I think it's best not to ask something like that here.
You should go to your doctor or any doctor because they will be able to figure out the cause and know what you're dealing with. Chest pains can be really serious.

i always get that. if im not wrong, your lungs works too much all of the sudden. OR, you stopped exercising right? when your lungs suddenly been used too hard when you suddenly run or jump or any thing, you'll always get that. in a few minutes or sometimes a few hours, you'll feel ok. well, i did.

Okay, first of all, ignore what question one said because it was RUDE! Anyways, if you are very concerned about this, I would go see the doctor. They know best.
