Sometimes headaches are a sign of dehydration - make sure you are getting plenty of liquids - preferably water. Also try to get lots of sleep, avoid too much alcohol and try to avoid stress (sometimes easier said than done!). You could always try a little light exercise like yoga and perhaps meditation would help.

Watch what you eat. Things that say "Diet" or "Light" often contain Aspartame. Aspartame is a sugar substitute that is very very bad for you. Among a lot of other things, it causes headaches. Try to eat more healthy stuff. Caffeine can also cause headaches, so take it easy on coffee and soda.

Avoid sugar substitutes, and if you would like more information how how aspartame really is (and I recommend it) look up "Sweet Misery" on Google video.
