i had blood taken early this morning for blood work and now my entire arm they took it from is stiff and hurts pretty bad. i don't know if it has something to do with the blood being taken or a reaction to the HPV vaccine i recieved yesterday. just tell me does anyone elses arm feel like that ater they have blood taken?

im sorry but you should consult a doctor...just in case..oh and yay for the hpv vaccine! =)

No, this isn't the norm. It's not a usual reaction to the Gardasil. That may cause pain, itching, swelling and/or redness at the injection site. Possibly it was a poor blood draw. Rest your arm, take an analgesic for the pain and keep an eye on it. If it worsens, becomes reddened/discolored or swells contact your doctor immediately or go to an ER. Otherwise, if the stiffness and pain don't subside in another 24 hours, report it to your doctor.

Definately see a doctor. It could be something to do with your veins when they took the blood. Is there and brusing?

Pls get in touch with your dr to have this evaluated as this is not normal.
