Unusual for tennis elbow to be affected by climate conditions, have you had the diagnosis confirmed by a doctor?
IF this is the problem, it is an inflammation set up at the insertion of multiple muscles into the extensor origin laterally at the elbow. Little bgenefit is obtained from oral anti-inflammatories, the best 2 managements are probably physio or local steroid injection.

Welcome to the world of injuries - just keep the rubs (icy hot, etc) handy and take some ibuprofen to ease the swelling, because when you've hurt muscles pretty bad, that's just how it goes - I've pulled both lumbar muscles, and believe me, when there's cold weather coming in, or some kind of a drastic change, it gets hard to get out of bed sometimes, and all you can do is some slow stretches and a dose of the heating pad and ibuprofen.

I'm a nurse and regular ibuprofen will reduce the inflammation and give you relief. Take care and if this don't help see your doctor, but ibuprofen works well.
