I was wondering this because I find that lately when I eat anything that contains coconut I get a migraine headache. Does anyone know what other foods can trigger migraine headaches? I don't know if this is posted in the right category, but it is painful so, pain and pain management sounded good lol.

Recently i was perscribed hydrocodone 7.5, acetaminophen 750 for a bad leg burn (white pill form). Since acetaminophen is horrible for the liver i want to know a fast and home effective way of extracting the acetaminophen from the hydrocodone so i could take the hydrocodone by itslef separating the two substances. I heard this might be done with salt or something similar. Help please.

The surgery was outpatient, but I was completely anesthetized. I have a few stitches, and I have been given lortab for pain. I was hoping to not have to use the pain medication by today. Is it unusual for it to hurt two days later? The incision is less than one inch long!

I have been in pain for over a year. I have seen 6 Doctors. I have also been in PT for about 8 months. Most of my doctors have given up on me. I have been on many painkillers with little or no effect. Everything besides laying down hurts. The pain extends from the bottom of my rib cage to my shoulder blades. I have started going to a chiropractor, but it is only reducing a small amount of pain. I'm stuck in a state of extreme inactivity and depression. I have also cleaned out my bank account trying to fix my kidney. Being in pain most of the time is really tough too deal with and i don't know what too do.

last october i had surgery on my knee (lateral release) it was fine all winter, summer, etc. Now all of a sudden my other knee is doing the same thing (i have crocked knee caps and they cause pain)...over the counter pain killers do nothing for it, and i cant rely on stong meds all the time either. My original doctor that did it now moved to SC...what do i do? should i go to another doctor and go through the same 3 months process, or just live with it for another 10 years again.

Does anyone have an educated answer as to what might be causing occasional pain in the tip of my left index finger? It is right beneath the nail bed. Feels like a throbbing pain, occasionally shooting. I only get it a few times a day, been going on for a couple weeks. I know this is the large intestine meridian but that's not helping. It does tell me there is a nerve that runs to the tip of that finger that could be potentially acting up...but why? Please only answer if you have a real medical source...I've clearly done enough speculation of my own! Thank you!

My son went to the doctor's a year back and at the end of the appointment, he was given a sticker. The doctor placed the sticker on the back of his hand. It was of a smiley face! ;)

Problem is, on the way home, he said the sticker was hurting his hand. He's very little so he didn't understand that he could take the sticker off. All he did was complain that his hand was in a lot of pain.

I removed the sticker and he was fine after. No more complaints. Well, it's finally occurred to me after seeing him with a sticker on the back of his hand today that he's had plenty of stickers on the back of his hand before and after this one appointment. What could've caused the pain on the back of his hand during the time the sticker was on?

I worked at Starbucks for a year, about the latter half of the year I worked there I developed carpal tunnel syndrome. I quit working in August, and went back in October. Now my hands and wrists hurt so bad, especially because I am on bar a lot more often at this new store. I'm doing things like carrying heavy floor mats, carrying milk jugs back and forth, mopping, etc.
When I first went to my regular doctor, who had me hold my hands together similar to praying, to see if I felt numbness or tingling, I did. Now when I try that, I don't feel any numbness. I was reading online that if you don't have numbness then it's probably not carpal tunnel. Is there a condition possibly similar to carpal tunnel syndrome that would cause wrist and hand pain? Or is it possible the numbness was only an early symptom, and has gone away?
I am going back to the doctor next week, but I wanted to see if anyone had any other possibilities I could ask her about.
