It might be for you. Usually dairy products, nuts and cholocolate can act as a trigger. I find bad smells affect me. It is important to notice what foods to oavoid and limit, in your case coconut. It wasn't chocolate covered coconut was it? It might be the choloclate taht troubles you.

You are stressing yourself too much, you tense up, have wrinkles on your forehead and so on, this is what gives you migraines. Try to take the pressure off yourself. Give yourself plenty of time. Take breaks in between working. Don't push yourself. If you behave the same way as if you were doing something fun, you won't have migraines. It takes some getting used to. Think of people in jobs where they are in constant time pressure and literally responsible for saving lives e.g. ER nurse. These jobs require that you change the way you are thinking about things and relax while you do them, otherwise you won't last long.

I've have been finding the very same thing. I just started eating coconut butter, and every time I eat any I get a migraine. So I hay good bye to it. I love the stuff, but it isn't worth the awful pain.

i think it depends on the person. mine are triggered by mushrooms. my dad's are triggered by dark chocolate. i would stop eating coconut. i stopped eating mushrooms(which i love) and i have not had one since. good luck
