That's a bunch of crap. They are 5mg hydrocodone ( Vicoden ) and 500mg Tylenol. That's why it's called hydrocodone/APAP 5/500. APAP stands for acetominophen ( Tylenol ). I'm glad he's not my pharmacist.

I would say find out about the back pain before loading up with hydrocodone. If you do take it over a long period of time, it is very difficult to get off of. Check the internet on prescription drugs/ hydrocodone. This is some serious stuff. My wife is having a big problem with this drug.

5mg of hydrocodone
500 mg of acetaminophen

This has no ibuprofen in it. It has Tylenol I use the M358 which is the 7.5 but I know there is No ibuprofen in these~ I would be dead. I am highly allergic to ibuprofen. The M357 is Hydrocodone & Tylenol 5/500.

Normal mg is 500 in the pharmacy or over the counter as 150mg Ibuprophen.
Hydrocodone and ibuprofen ( hye-droe-KOE-done and eye-byoo-PROE-fen) combination is used to relieve pain.
The hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic that acts in the central nervous system to relieve pain. If hydrocodone is used for a long time, it may become habit-forming (causing mental or physical dependence). Physical dependence may lead to withdrawal side effects when you stop taking the medicine. Since hydrocodone and ibuprofen combination is only used for short-term (10 days or less) relief of pain, physical dependence will probably not occur.
