i know this may be gross but i had knee surgery last october and anytime is going to rain or the weather changes i get bad knee pains at night, instead of taking something real strong i just take 3-4 IB (3-4 is the same dose as if a doc was to give me something) before i go to bed, ive noticed since ive been taking it ive had a bloody stool. I think that happened before and i stopped taking it, but is it normal? and should i worry?

Over the past three days, it's gotten worse every day. Lower right area of my abdomen, between belly button and pelvic bone. It's hurting more when I walk, sit down etc. WTF PEOPLE.

I was invited to go bowling( I'm not a bowler) yesterday and I picked a lighter weight ball to use. Anyway today I am dying!My upper back is killing me and the muscles in the back of my neck are pulling on the back of my head.It hurts like hell. I've tried heat, and just put ice on it .I also took 2 Advil around 4 pm and then another one around 7.Nothing is working to help the pain.I even tried massaging my own neck with my nuckles. Any ideas for anythin else I can do to take the edge off of the pain? Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks!

Pain when i swallow and my back whenItake a deep breath. feels likeIhave air stuck in weird plces.what doido? What is this? will it go away? has this happened to anybody, its terrible. hurts in my glands under my jaw line. it seriously feels like i got a bunch of air stuck where it shouldnt be and its causing a bunch of pressure everywhere. i cant do a pushup because the pressure gets put on my collar bones. My mother has a backpain. It has been hurting on the right side of her hips and we still haven't found out what's causing it. One of her ovaries (on the right) had been tied because of a tumor operation 3 years ago and now her right hip is hurting. Does anyone have any idea what this could be? Going to the doctor won't help because he also had no idea what caused this.

I can eat spaghetti with any other kind of sauce imaginable - bernaise, Thai, kung po, gravy, chilli, etc. but when I use regular spaghetti sauce, my stomach hurts so bad that I feel like I'm dying. I'll feel sick and in pain for the rest of the day and the pain starts before I even finish eating. I don't think it's the spice becuase spaghetti sauce is bland as can be and I eat nuclear hot wings and vindaloo and everything else spicy and that doesn't do anything to me. And I eat tomatos in salads and on sandwiches and that doesn't do anything to me either. Why does spaghetti sauce make me so sick and giveme so much PAIN? Is it something medical and serious? I can't afford to have a doctor in my life -- should I go to the ER?

I've been playing basketball for about 6 years and I have never gotten this foot pain until the past couple years. It happens when I play basketball for a while, either in a game or practice. Both of my feet hurt horribly...just the bottoms, the whole bottom. I already have orthotics that I got costomized to my feet, i got those because my knees were hurting super bad when i played basketball and now my knees dont hurt, my feet do! ive tried icing them, and it does help temporarily but my feet usually do end up hurting the next day. the pain is like getting worse and worse. any ideas? THANKS. :]

I do not know the cause of my injury, but I have had achilles tendonitis for 1 1/2 years. I've tried Alleve, Motrin, and most recently a Medrol pack. I wear a short splint on the ankle at night, heel lifts, and was just given a warrior boot to wear when walking. I went to physical therapy for 3 months, I do stretches, had Ionto therapy, ultrasound therapy, and manual therapy. I hurt like a bugger and have a hard time walking , esp. after sitting or sleeping, until things loosen up.
What kinds of things have you found to provide relief, and how long did your symptoms last? I heard this could take as many as 5 years to heal from my doctor, and surgery is not a good option, nor are cortisone shots, as they'll only weaken the already weakened tendon.

i went to the doctors last week for an ache i have had in my back for 6 weeks, apparently i have torn or ripped something, but the ache has only ever been a mild uncomfortable ache, i would have thought i would be in agony, so have i got a high pain thresh-hold?

do you think you have a high or low and how do we compare as some people exaggerate!

This morning I woke up with a slight headache, thinking it was nothing I moved a long with my day. As the day progressed my head started hurting more (all over and in general more towards the back). I decided to take a nap. After I woke up, my head at the back hurt even more and has progressed the rest of the night. I have a fever, have a dry cough and feel sick to my stomach. The pain is severe.. it feels like someone is cutting my head open while at the same time... trying to squeeze my brain into a ball. I have cried for the past hour it has hurt so much, and it doesn't look like it is going to go down. I have tried tylenol but it does absolutely nothing for the pain. Does anyone have any tips as to how to get the pain to go down, or even as to what it is?
