Pain & Pain Management - August 2006

I can't stand for 30 min. without them hurting, & certain jobs require that I stand 8 hrs. straight. I really want to work these types of jobs, but I can't because of my feet. Mainly the arch of my feet hurt, but other parts hurt & swell. How can I remedy this problem? Thanks.

I started having a migrane the other day so i took an asprin but it didnt work and the pain is getting worse, so i was wondering if anyone knows of a really good way to get rid of a migrane other than just taking an asprin and getting more rest.

I have had severe lower back pain (mostly in left side). It doesnt feel muscular but im not a doctor. Anyway i dont have a fever but i have lost my appetite (maybe due to pain) and have headaches atleast every morning. What do yo think the doctor will do?

every two hours i get hungry, no matter how much i eat. and i feel hungry, then my stomach hurts, then i get really sharp pains. i cant get to sleep at night unless i sneak food out of the kitchen because thats the only thing that makes it stop. and people a thinkin im makin it up to get more food, but im not. should i see a docter?

which bed should i buy if i get sore backs sleeping on a futon.
i have been waking up with really sore backs lately and think it might be the bed. i toss and turn at night and in the morning i have a had time getting up and when i get up my back is very painful.

what should i do?

I havent hit my heel nor have i stepped on anything so no i dont have a splinter in my heel, but it hurts like hell. The only relief i get is by putting weight on it, as soon as i lift my foot its agony....so anyone have any idea??????

well the thing is that i have pain in my foot, every time i walk it hurts. i have pain in my big toe and can hardly move it and it also hurts alot on my ball point ( the area under the bigtoe) so now every time i walk or put pressure on that area it hurts alot. what should i do because it really hurts please help. any answers are appreciated.

I have 2 herniated discs at L4-5 and L5-S1. Late Wednesday night I noticed my foot fell asleep (foot to a quarter the way up my calf). It hasn't 'woken' up yet. My back pain is the same, but I feel a weird pressure in my low back. I also went pee earlier and about 7-8 minutes after I was done I started dribbling (little more then a dribble), I had no idea there was any left and didn't know until it happened. Any ideas what is going on? Should I go to the ER asap or wait till Monday and call my doc?

can somebody tell me why, the doctors i go to for a herniated disc give me muscle relaxers and NSAIDs to releave the pain? i think the pain is nerve related. is there somthing more potent like pain pills needed to get relief?
