Any pain in the chest or back area should get attention right away. It could be something serious. Plus, it never hurts to be cautious. This is your health we'e talkin about here.

issues with the left side of your body are typical of a stroke. If you are having trouble breathing or your chest feels unusually tight, or if your symptoms persist you shoudl contact your doctor, and from there they can figure out if you need any sort of treatment. (I know, i sound like a commercial 'contact your doctor', but it could be serious, and it could be nothing - it's their job to know, so talk to them!)
good luck!

It never cease to amaze me how foolish people are with their health. This site is often visited by teens and younger. Not to mention you have no clue who giving you advice or their actual knowledge. Its one thing to ask about your yahoo or President etc but to ask questions of unknown person about your health is just plain stupid!

How old are you? How is your breathing? If it is severe, you should call 911, or go to the ER.
