See a podiatrist immediately. They can give you exercises for your feet, inserts for your shoes that are suitable for your arch size, and can help in many other ways.
As with being able to stand 8 hours. Apart from your already painful feet, generally if you're not used to standing 8 hours and begin doing it full time, the first couple weeks will be tiring so make sure you have comfy shoes and look after your feet.

Sounds like neuropathy.
I have this severly and it is hard for me to stand on my feet for even 15 minutes without them hurting like hell.
There is not much that you can do about it. Find some extremely comfortable walking shoes. ( made specifically for walking) get some arch support insoles to put in them.
They also make a certain type of shoe for it and they are tennis shoes that look like they have springs for heels. But they are very expensive ( about 200 dollars) and you can get them at specialty shoe stores.

I think it must be the excess of being standing up all the time. Try to sit down once in a while and wear comfortable shoes.
When you get back home you could put your feet inside water with salt, it helps pretty much.

Go see a podiatrist, it sounds like there is a problem directly associated with the arch of your feet. You may need to wear a different type of shoe, but please go see a foot doctor and don't take any other advice from us.

It is possible you may have plantars warts. They form on the bottom of your feet and can be very painful. They are hard to see sometimes too. If you have them they can be treated with over the counter freeze off.

Do you have tile floors at home? If you do, wear slippers around the house. My mother had a problem similar to this, and just by wearing slippers at home, the pain decreased greatly.

are you overweight? That's probably the culprit if you are.
Get some shoes with arch support or some arch insoles. That may help.

I'm not a doctor so don't ask me but go to an actual doctor and ask him yourself I'm sure he'd know how to fix it since doctors know most sicknesses and get paid a **** load :)
