well, there could be all kinds of reasons, you have this pain. it could be a stress fracture, it could be gout, it could be arthritis, it could be bone spurs. best thing to do, is go to a podiatrist, and let them check it out. they will most likely do an xray to rule out certain things. these things can be very painful. especially when you first wake up and take your first step of the day. yikes, that can hurt! i hope its nothing serious and they can treat you with the utmost speed, and get you on the track to a painless step!

It could be one of many things and no one here is a doctor. Even could be gout, which is painful or two separate issues, gout and metatarsalgia or mortons neuroma regarding ball of foot pain. Best to see a foot doctor for diagnosis. They can also inject cortisone into the painful part once a year. Or meds for inflammation may help as well as N-saids. Have you tried ibuprophen? Good luck. Feet problems make the whole body miserable.

If he walks on the outside of his feet, that's called supination. I do it too. You can buy shoes that correct for it. I've been looking at New Balance. Other brands will have it too, I haven't found one I like yet. If he walks on the inside edge, that's called pronation, that can be corrected by shoes too. Good luck finding shoes! By the way it's not a "problem" with his feet OR the shoes. Some people's feet are simply built that way. Some people do it, some don't. Nobody's fault or problem. :)

Adilmaster, you really need to go see a doctor. You may have a plantar wart, or a nerve that has gotton pinched or any number of other ailments. It sounds serious enough not to listen to a bunch of medically uneducated guessers. Your feet are much too important to put in the hands of strangers. No pun intended. I wish you the best of luck and hope your malady is tended to quickly. Nana

I think you have ingrown nails. Go to a doctor and have it removed before infection sets in.
