First of all, don't self diagnose. See a doctor to make sure you are in fact, having a migraine. (Since if you were having a true migraine, I don't you would be on the computer)
But, if you have been diagnosed before and you are sure that is what you have, your doctor can prescribe migraine medication for you in pill, nose spray or injection form.
If you want home remedies, I suggest Excedrin Migraine. I works pretty good - take the suggested dose on the bottle and follow it up with a cup of coffee or a Coke (the extra caffeine really helps)
Lay down in a cool, dark place with an ice pack on the back or your neck. You should get relief in about 30-40 min. If you haven't - PLEASE - see your doctor.
A headache that lasts several days or isn't responding to medication should be evaluated. Good Luck and you have my deepest sympathies - I have been there!!!

At the onset of a migraine, masturbate. Yes I am quite serious, we need to get the blood away from the head as quickly as possible. I know it is not always practical to do this but is highly pleasurable. All the best. It is natural with no side effects, oh sorry except for smiling.

i get migraines too. i usually take some motrin and i try to rest but sometimes it happens at work and i can't rest then so i apply a hot rag or cool rag depends what feels better at the time because sometimes the cool makes it feel worse. try not to think about anything you can make you head hurt worse just try to relax. try not to eat anything that can trigger a migraine like anything with caffeine in it.

You need a medication such as Imitrex or Inderal. They dialate the blood vessels for better blood flow. Call your doctor.

take excedrin, no need for excedrin migraine, the plain stuff works, until you can get your doc to prescribe Maxalt or imitrix, don't go for midrin, it sucks. try just using excedrin and be careful of sugar or caffeine deprivation. Get in a dark room and good luck
