Blethro spasms...or eye twitches typically occur with fatigue or poor oxygenation. Take a few deep breaths (don't pass out), eat something, chill out. If it persists, try rolling your shoulders to loosen your upper back and take breaths in and out...the exhalation should last approximately 2x's longer than the inhalation. These breathing exercises should help. If not, drink a gatorade, you may be dehydrated and low on electrolytes. Hope this helps

honey, absolutely make an appointment to see a doctor - first, your general practictioner so he or she can determine your general physical health...and then, get a referral to a qualified opthomologist.
If you don't have insurance, please check with any teaching hospital in your area (look for Eye Doctors) and see if they have reduced fees for students (who are supervised by opthomologist and really up to date in training) to examine your eyes.
If you have pain, nothing is probably wrong with advil...but be advised that you are seeking medical advice from non-professionals - anything you get back on this question is just someone's best guess. You need to see a professional, and quickly. You only have two eyes, and it could be something simple or a sign of a neurological condition that needs immediate attention.

Have you been staring at a computer screen for more than five hours? If so, take a break, try to get some sleep. Probably not a medical condition. Maybe just a random nerve spasm from immense light conditions.

Yes its a medical condiction people call twitching eyes or eye twitch. It is a nerve problem and alot of times its called by being overly stressed. I talk with a lot of people that also have the same problem and there is really no cure you can do for it unless you go to a nerve doctor and address the issue. Good luck. Best Wishes.

I experienced that same thing when my adrenaline levels were significantly elevated. I had trouble sleeping too. They tested my adreniline levels with 24 hour urine tests and the results were 3 times greater than normal. Not a good experience. I was stressed out about PVC's (skipped heart beats) before I understood that they were normal and not dangerous.

There is always a reason. It sounds more like a sympton. I have suffered from this and it was irritating as hell. I always considered it to lack of sleep combined with too much anxiety.

no, it's not like, a sickness or anything. mine does that once in a while too. its probably stress or not enough sleep. or it shows that you have something on your mind (which is always the reason for me) it'll go away in a couple hours though

I have had this happen to me myself. I went to the doctor and asked him about it. The reason is because of low sodium amount in your blood stream! Isn't that wild? What did he recomend for me? He recomended that I went out for Chinese food! (chinese food usualy has high sodium counts). Your medicine that I recomend: go Oriental tomorrow!
