Put an icepack on your head. Works great!! Also, they sell migraine patches at the store that work the same way, but don't need to be freezed. They have menthol in them, and can be used more than once. Love them!
If it's a sinus migraine, make a hot pack by putting a soaking wet rag in a freezer bag in the microwave for about a minute, leaving the bag open. (it might seal while heating, and in that case, pull it out when the bag begins to bubble up). Wrap it in a towel. (Important--keep it in the towel at all times, or else you will burn yourself on the plastic!!). Place the towel over your forehead, face, sinus caveties. It will loosen things up.

Usually a dark, quiet room with a cold washcloth on my wife's forehead helps her some, but nothing really takes away all the pain until the episode is over in a few hours. Hope this helps and good luck!

I have found relief with a water called "Penta". This water is supposed to increase the oxygen intake into your system by 5 times the rate of regular water. For some migraine-sufferers, like myself, drinking 15 to 20 ounces at the onset of a migraine causes the migraine to disappear.

I hear rubbing half a lime on your forehead will do the trick.

I get frequent migraines and plan to try this next time I get one.

The only other thing besides drugs would be to sleep in a dark room.

Go to a quiet place, cover your face with a cool cloth. Migraines are sensitive to light, so keep lighting low. Sometimes upper neck massage helps. Try taking 2 regular aspirin as soon as you feel symptoms coming on.

I have tried everything, nothing worked. I finally went to the docs because I could not take the pain anymore. I am very happy to say that I am taking Topamax and it works awesome......no druggie feeling, and I do not get migraines anymore!!! It is a migraine preventative that you take daily. I am not a medicine person, I hate meds, but this stuff is great.
