Can't sleep

2007-02-04 16:45:28 · 4 answers · asked by believe me 3

I have been smoking for about 20 years (I am 35) and would love to give it up but I am really scared that I won't be able to do it. My husband quit 5 years ago and has been on my case ever since to do the same. I wish I could wake up tomorrow and be a non-smoker. The problem is I still enjoy smoking maybe 10 out of the 20 cigarettes I have each day.

I don't like wearing my glasses. I don't wear them to school, so I can't see. They are kinda crooked too. I'm worried about like poking my eye out, and having something on my eye makes me nervous. Are these irrational fears.

on the rounds, he pets the dog and obviously can't wash his hands. I'm not being petty, just want to work out if it is hygienic as I doubt if it is allowed in other food type establishments! I have preschool children to think about! Am I concerned over nothing or should I go back to supermarket milk? Please, sensible answers only! Thanks.

Hi, I have trouble getting by with less than 9 hours of sleep. My ideal time seems to be going to bed between 11:30 and midnight and getting up at 9am (still, I could probably sleep until 10am if I don't have to get up). Because of this, I have had trouble making it on time at many jobs. If I get less than 9 hours of sleep on more than a few days in a row, my body starts to ache and I get sick (like catch a cold). Even if it's just one day, I cannot fuction well with less than 9 hours (sleepy, tired, brain feeling cloudy). I think I have enough exercise, since I bike to my work and errands every day -- but my sleep pattern was the same even when I had a car. Even if I can go to bed and get up early to go to work on time (which I have tried but falling asleep earlier is difficult), I don't want to spend 9 hours of my day sleeping! I want to be able to make it with 6 to 8 hours, as with many of my productive friends! Any ideas?
