Wear chapstick or something to keep the tar away from your lips. I assume that your fingers are also turning dark--lemon juice helps with this, and also gets rid of the tobacco smell.

The only way to stop your lips from turning black is to stop smoking trust me I know. My lips are black to and so are my cousin's who is sitting here with me we just don't want to stop smoking so we use lip gloss with a hint of pink in it to take away from the dark discoloration
