I have been blaming 10 hr days, quick 5 min snack lunch meal, lot of stress on job lately and I am just worn out...am on thyroid medicine and had surgery on ulnar nerve in arm in Oct could cause hair problems but your thinking?? Just began taking some vitamins thinking that may help but I can go all day and not eat but live on coffee and cokes.....thanks for suggestions

friday night i fell asleep with my contacts on, later that night i took them out. saturday morning my eye was completely red and it hurt really bad. i bought some eys drops (visine tear drops) and i put some drops in my eyes then went to sleep. this morning my eye fells alot better but i want the redness to go away. how long will it take to heal? or any other ideas?

I saw this in the "Heroes" pilot- girl puts hand in garbage disposer, fingers come out mangled...

well, the company that makes the disposer has sued NBC
for suggesting that serious injuries will result "in the event consumers were to accidentally insert their hand into one."

Well... what's supposed to happen- does the hand get mangled? Are there any security features that prevent this from happening??

PS: DON'T ACTUALLY TRY IT AT HOME!!

Hi. This is the second time I have seen this. Suddenly all my veins ( mostly in my arms and wrists) are very very blue evey line is pronouced and some thick, as if the blood is going to burst through the veings. What the hell is this? its freaking me out!!! I'm blue everywhere. It doesn't hurt and feel fine but it's freaking me out to be this 'blue'. could it be just medicine i'm taking ( i take medicine for insomnia) or could it be the red wine I drank too much of?.I'm 27. and too young to have my grandmothers 'veins' they are not vericose either.

I have a severe public speaking phobia. Knowledge of the subject does not works for me because I get really nervous even when I have to read something I know or when talking in front of just 5 people I don't know well. Some of my symptoms are blushing, sweating, fast heart beating, and run out of air even if I'm speaking slowly, and sometimes I can not continue speaking. I was wandering if I can take Lorazepam, or some medication. I can not join Toastmasters either because I'm not from USA.

I have a small coin shaped spot on the back of my arm (red in color) it looks like a ring worm (BUT DOES NOT ITCH). It just feels like this dry circle, I did some internet searching and I think it could be Numular Exzema, considering I have exzema on my lower legs....and I also have bad dry skin...

I also get small coin shaped spots on the top part of my legs too that do not itch...I have only noticed this since the begining of winter (they are a little pink but mostly just flesh colored spots that feel like dry skin)

I gave her a little nibble on the lobe and off came the rock, and down the hatch it went .It was a big sucker and cost me a few weeks' pay. How long before it passes thru me? And how do I go about retrieving it from the poo? Do I just dump thru a screen for the next few days and go sifting, or what? Please help, she wants to kill me!

My house-hold is very stessful and i've already tried to quit once. After about 2 weeks (on the patch) I became so irritable, I began to yell at my kids for no good reason and they are only 2,3, and 4. they aren't old enough to understand that it's not their fault that I am mad. Also, my fiance works 2nd shift so she spends all morning with the 2yr. old while the 3 and 4yr. are in school. and when they come home mommy is at work until after they go to bed. She also smokes and refuses to quit unless i do it first! I want to quit so bad but, i don't want to take it out on the kids but I don't know what to do. Please help! I've been smoking for 10yrs. and never around the kids (only in the addition or outside, while away from the kids ofcourse)

I woke up this morning to find my right ear has a pressure buildup in it. I cant get it to pop, so everything sounds funny and its really getting annoying. My left one is working fine though. I had a cold a couple days ago but now i can breath just fine, better than ever in fact, but i cant get my right ear to pop and its been 10 hours or more. I have tried sneezing, holding my breath, sticking fingers in my nose and trying to exhale thouse my nose, ive put water in my ears, ive used a decongestant, and nasal spray. i even got in my car and turned rap music up all the way with the bass on max. I just tried using the vacum hose on my ear and relized i was loosing it, so i am asking for someone to help me out before i jam a screwdriver into my head. If its still like this come monday i'll probobly go to the docter. But until then please give me some suggestions, because its not a light pressure. Its much worse than anything else i have ever felt in my ear, and i fly a lot, please help!!!

i been having these symptoms for three mths now and i have seen alot of doctors who diagnosed me as having anxiety. i am noticed that even though i have a good sleep these pins still come back to haunt me. its sometimes in my feet they can go to my toes up to my hands to my head and my fingers or even my body.
i also realised that i have a bad sitting posture so i am not to sure whether it affects but anyways what are the other things that could be able to make me feel this way pls message me if anyone else is feeling the same way as i do.

I'm young, but I noticed that my right knee seems to click whenever I do lunges or walk up the stairs; sometimes even down the stairs. It doesn't happen all the time, but even when it does, there's NO pain. It started happening around half a year ago, and I'm wondering if it's anything worth stressing about? I won't be able to see a doctor anytime soon.

I go to boarding school and like to go to sleep early. I've heard that foam earplugs are the most comfortable but wax and silicone ones block out more noise. I hate having to go to sleep and hearing the kids running around and listening to loud music and screaming etc... I was wondering if 1) Do the wax or silicone earplugs work well, and 2) where could I find them?
