I used to have the same problem until I used Burt's Bee Beeswax Lip Balm. You may log on to www.burtsbees.com for more info. You should layer this to your lips before using lipgloss or any lipstick. However, within the healing process, I suggest that you use this alone first.

Medicated Chapstick or the Burt's Bees stuff is great...above all, try to hydrate (drinking plenty of water is the best thing) and don't lick your lips when you feel them dry...it'll only dry them out even more!

I have the same problem specially in the winter and I use a little Mentholatum on my lips. It works wonders for me. Maybe it will help you.

Chaptsick sucks.
Burt's Bees makes a good lip balm. Carmex is pretty good too.

DO YOU WEAR LIPSTICK OR LIP GLOSS? IF YOU DO, THAT MIGHT BE THE REASON, TRY SOMETHING WITH MOISTURIZERS, OF APPLY CARMEX OR VASELINE BEFORE APPLYING YOUR LIPSTICK.
