I woke up this morning to find my right ear has a pressure buildup in it. I cant get it to pop, so everything sounds funny and its really getting annoying. My left one is working fine though. I had a cold a couple days ago but now i can breath just fine, better than ever in fact, but i cant get my right ear to pop and its been 10 hours or more. I have tried sneezing, holding my breath, sticking fingers in my nose and trying to exhale thouse my nose, ive put water in my ears, ive used a decongestant, and nasal spray. i even got in my car and turned rap music up all the way with the bass on max. I just tried using the vacum hose on my ear and relized i was loosing it, so i am asking for someone to help me out before i jam a screwdriver into my head. If its still like this come monday i'll probobly go to the docter. But until then please give me some suggestions, because its not a light pressure. Its much worse than anything else i have ever felt in my ear, and i fly a lot, please help!!!

Have you tried holding your nose and exhaling? It usually works for me. But it sounds as if you need ear drops. If it's not better by Monday i'd contact the doctor first thing.

Ok first try this .... it is called a valsava procedure .... try blowing air while keeping both ur nostrils and mouth tightly shut ( so that ur cheeks bloat out ) ..... if that does'nt work ... then u could be drastic ... and make urself sneeze by using say some pepper near ur nose and u could even close ur nostril when u do that ... if it still does'nt work ... u might have something called secretory otitis media which when fluid and air bubbles fill up inside ur ear .. don't worry it's a very common condition ... they just give u anti allergic drugs and some antibiotics.....

right now my suggestion to u if it does'nt pop then try some anti-histaminics ( anti - allergic drugs) and see if it works or go to doc

Get some ear drops in the pharmacy and put them in to soften the wax. Then go to the doctor and they will direct a jet of warm water into your ear and the wax will come out. It doesn't hurt. This happens to me all the time

it sounds like you have a wax build up. You should go to the pharmacy and find ear drops that will liquefy the wax and it will eventually drain. I know it's annoying but it will take time. Do not stick something in your ear or you risk messing up your hearing.

Try chewing some gum, but I bet it won't help.
Sounds like you have an ear infection caused by your recent cold. You can go to Urgent Care and they'll give you antibiotics. You be better in a few days and won't have a damaged eardrum!!!
