I got really drunk a few nights ago & cracked my head on a ceramic planter. I guess I was so wasted that I hit it a few times. I have a bump about 3 inches long and an inch high on my head. I have had a headache since the morning after. At first I thought it was just the hangover, but I'm really concerned. I am numb from the neck down just the middle of my back. It kinda feels like I have icy-hot on my back. My shoulders are sore and my neck is tender. I really have a fear of doctors especially at the ER. Should I go? Should I wait? Is it possible I just bruised myself and need to give it time to heal?

Yes I already know how stupid I was to get that drunk!
Yes I know I am an idiot!
No I swear I will never drink again!

Now please tell me something I don't know. I watch a lot of TV emergency types shows & I am worried that I will have something rupture in my sleep. Silly maybe, give me some assurance that I will be ok.

Thanks in advance!

So tonight in my game I go up for a block and fell on it again and now it is very swollen again. Does that mean it is sprained? I can walk on it but only if I angle it a certain way and put no weight on it. I iced it a little but I was wondering if I will be ready for baskeball practice on Friday morning? Also I have a history of ankle problems.

Do you think I shud use a hard cast?is taking CELEBREX imprortant?

My boyfriend likes to hit punching bags without gloves. He recently hurt one of his knuckles doing that. Tonight, after barely punching the punching bag once, his hurt knuckle swole up again. Is it broken?

It's been about 2 days since the hammer fell on my second toe, my toe now is 100% dark purple black and it's surrounding the skin. I've been putting my feet in warm water, cleaning it with alcohol and putting neosporin antibiotic ointment. If I go to the ER now are they just going to pull out my nail ? Should I just continue doing what I am doing and just wait until the nail fall off ? It does hurts but I know its from the pressure of the brusie clogged up inside....

Yeah pretty much there are a more than one (3 to be exact) some bigger than the other the doctors ran a sonogram and said that the are not filled with liquid which is a good sign and should be going down however that's not the case they started to go down but pretty much stalled (not sure if that's spelt right) no these are the conditions I have surrounding my enviornment. I have athletes foot for a couple of years now but it came back and spread a little, I have cats and the litter along with they're urine creates this unbearable smell, There's a nasty mold growing in my bathroom I mean the whole ceiling is practically black and the plaster is bulging. I have been real stressed out lately can that play a factor? I was thinking that staying in my house is not such a great idea since there are like health hazards everywhere there including the cat waste smells, the mold, and the lack of ventilation in my bathroom. I would also like to add that i was playing basketball & got hit there.

I injured my back as a result of a work environment which was badly laid out and poorly maintained. Repeated heavy movements (up to 1000 per day) had a cumulative effect in causing a lower back injury symptomatic of slipped disc - I have continuing back pain and sciatica more than a year later and lost two jobs owing to time off sick as a major factor since then. After being rejected in essence by a couple of firms for the claim one accepted just as I'd given up nearly, I have put a description of injuries, sketch of environment and supporting statement etc. I can supply medical evidence of back injury. No-one will be a witness as they would lose their jobs/be compromised in their career ambition etc if they supported me. What chance do I have? Earnings alone I have lost 10000.
Plus pain and related frustration/anxiety, stress ("can I provide.."), unable to play sports, unable to lift /play with my son, help my wife round house, DIY etc - totally frustrating - still in daily pain..

And I have nothing to do. My parents freak whenever I try to walk on my crutches, and I've been sitting here for 3 hours. What are somethings to do on the computer for free besides games.

I'm not allowed on MySpace or Xanga.
