There is a possibility. If the bullet just hits the fat under the skin or the muscle probably not, but if the bullet penetrates all the way to one of the main blood vessels that travels through the leg then the victim could bleed to death. I guess this all depends on the angle of trajectory.
Case in point: There was an incident in the small town of Alma,CO. There a man was shot by police in the area of what would be considered the buttocks or the thigh region. The wound caused him to bleed to death.

It all depends on the caliber of weapon your shot with, if its a straight shot or just a graze...all kinds of factors need to be met. The femerol arterie is in the legs but cross through theButt to get to the Aorta. The Renal Arterie is right about the waist line and could also be hit. I hope this helps you

Probably not. When i was working in nursing in the hospital i seen a few of them and if it grazed or whatever you won't die normally unless you do not seek medical help and bleed to death.

You'd be fine, unless it went all the way through and hit that big artery near your crotch. Then you could bleed to death.

It hurts but in most cases it certainly isnt fatal.
