Probably. It depends how hard you were hit too. Some people bruise easier than others too.

Chances are that if you don't already have a bruise, you won't get one. Some can develop later, but that's usually on fleshy areas of the body with soft underlying tissue that can be damaged. Skulls are a lot tougher.

any where there are blood vessels, you have bruise potential, as a bruise is broken capillaries and small veins, basically an internal hemmorage of sorts
not only will you bruise, but probably get one hell of a shiner (2 black eyes like a racoon) if you take it dead center

The only time you get bruised is when a vein brakes inside...so it depends if he broke a vein or not
