I have had 2 since Feruary this year. I've work at jobs in the past doing shipment, I'm guessing that's what stressed them out. Then in Feb. I lifted something heavy and that was the final straw for the discs. My options are live with it, steroid shots or surgery.

Just wondering if anyone has gone through the same thing and what my best option would be. I've heard various pros and cons about the two procedures.

Yes, they are debilitating and it's hard to live with, but I have no insurance and no money, so unless there are some miraculous exercises, please tell me!! Thanks :-)

so an update on my hand. I bruised it about two weeks ago by hitting it on a pole...and nothing has really improved. Do bruises last 2 weeks?? The bone also feels it has risen up more than it does in my other hand.

Is this normal or does anyone know what exactly happend to my hand?

Something relatively heavy fell on my big toe and it caused a blood clot. That was about a week ago and I'm still seeing the blood clot on my toe. I've heard you have to take it out, but that sounds too painful to me. Do you have any better, and not at all painful, solutions for me?

Does anyone know if epidurals used for lower back pain (herniated discs) are painful? Do you normally go under? Or is there just local anthesia used? I really need some serious answers and soon! :-\ Thank you so very much!

MY SISTER CAN MAKE MONTHLY PAYMENTS BUT SHE DOES NOT HAVE A LOT OF MONEY TO PUT DOWN. SHE HAS ABOUT THREE WEEKS TO HAVE A BULGING?, PROTRUDING?, HERNIATED? DISC OPERATED ON OR SHE WILL HAVE PERMANANT NERVE DAMAGE OR BE CRIPPLED/PARALIZED. PLEASE HELP...I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO TURN...IT WOULD KILL US BOTH IF SHE WERE TO LOSE HER INDEPENDANCE....

ONE THING I FORGOT TO SAY IS THAT SHE WAS A WIFE AND MOTHER FOR OVER 20 YEARS AND BECAUSE SHE DIDN'T WORK OUTSIDE THE HOME SHE CAN'T EVEN GET DISABILITY...WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN IF SHE IS DISABLED BECAUSE OF THIS? I DON'T HAVE THE MONEY TO CARE FOR HER. IF YOU CAN NOT HELP PLEASE FORWARD THIS TO SOMEONE WHO MIGHT.

SINCERELY,

What are the differences between sprained and twisted ankles (including symptoms and ways to treat them)? I've hurt both my ankles a lot in the past few months. I'm pretty sure they've been sprains, but I just want to know to make sure. Thanks!

Most women say that the soles of their feet are: Soft Pink, Tan, Beige, Off-white, Cream, Salmon Pink or Pale. The American Podiatry Association states that all of the above are evidence of proper circulation in the soles of the feet and injuries to the feet can be detected from the hue (color) of the soles of the feet.

The left outer corner of my eye hurts when i blink or touch it. I don't know whats wrong but it may have something to do with me having bad allergies and rubbing my eyes alot.
