Yes you can die. Will you? The chances are 100%. However, I don't think a cell phone battery would do it. Unless you ate it.

no danger, you can't even get hurt from a 9V battery this way. (Unless you have some kind of medical condition or you're a senior citizen.) Were you testing it to see if it was charged? Or were you just wondering how it tasted? Did you get a "tingle" on your tongue? Ummm... hopefully you won't check your car battery this way :-)

No, but its not recommended...
i heard of people dying from testing a 9v battery on their tongues but thats rare...and its a higher voltage then 3.5

Nope and you will not get stuck to a metal lamp pole if you lick it in winter! Try them both out and let me know how it goes!

I've been popped by up to 220VAC. 3 VDC shouldn't even be enough to shock you. If the battery is leaking though, you might want to ask a doc.

ummmm i think you need a little more than 3.7volts to kill yourself boy. anyway if you did die from that, you would die right after you licked it. Anyways why are you licking batteries??

No not at all... but then it will be toxic if you lick the open side of it.. i mean if you break or if u open the battery and then u lick it...

Only if it old and oozing acid. But even then, it probably won't kill you, but you will be in the hospital!
