shouldn't be...
I just had arthroscopic shoulder surgery 3 mos ago & my 2 scars are maybe 1/4 inch each. also had knee arthoscope surgery probably 20 yrs ago & those scars are the same size & not noticeable unless I really look for them... they really faded over time.

ive recently had the same op as you done...
hope it isnt too painful and you recouperated from the op well, as for the scars they shouldnt be very big at all, as well as myself i know of one other person who has said the same op done and her scars are almost the same.
The scars on either side of the knee shouldnt be no more than around 1/4 of inch long, they will probably be a little sore for a while, and also the swelling around them will take a little while to go down ( i had my op almost 8 weeks ago now, and still have a little bump on my inside scar), dont pick the scabs that form, that will help make the scaring worse...
if i could give you one tip, it is to do all you physio excerises, i was a little lazy in the first few weeks and im now suffering because of it, but obviously dont over work yourself for the next week or so, its not what your doc will recommend.

No, the scars are tiny. It's the associated swelling that will take a while to heal. I had an arthroscopy when I dislocated my patella a few years ago. Crutches for 8 weeks, a knee brace from my hip to by ankle and intense physiotherapy for a long time thereafter. Get better soon

They shouldn't be too bad.
I had one on my knee 6 years ago, I have two small marks on my knee, not even an inch long! i of them you can hardly see, the other one is a bit more noticeable. Not as a typical scar but a slight indentation in my knee.
Take it easy and let it heal properly, do your physio and you shouldn't have any major dramas.

I don't know what one of those is so I have no idea about the scar. I just wanted to wish you Get Well Soon!
