hey , i had an open fracture about 2 months ago, looks pretty healed now only i cant feel anything on the new tissue , and theres a hard bump on my bone... about the size of a quarter and it doesnt really hurt.. just discomfort, im super worried it may be osteo--- something of a sort , like bone cancer...

It looks like your bone may not have healed properly. There could be malunion of the bone fragments, in that the bone fragments have not united properly and there might still be a break in between. The hard bump on your bone is probably a callus that has not been resorbed.
Fracture healing is generally divided into 3 phases:
1) Organization of the hematoma at the site leading to a soft organizing weak procallus
2) Conversion of the procallus to a fibrocartilaginous callus
3) replacement of the fibrocartilaginous callus by an osseus callus, which is eventually remodeled along lines of weight bearing to complete the repair.
Lower limb fractures generally take a longer time to heal than upper limb fracutures. Generally, by 2-3 wks, a callus would be visible and formed, union in 8-12 wks and consolidation in 12-16 wks. its about 8 wks for you, so the bones should be uniting now.
The best bet would be to see a doctor or at least go for an Xray, where you would be able to eyeball if there is indeed any non-union or malunion of the fracture site. I highly doubt it is a bone cancer, as they tend to be very much larger, with redness and warmth in the overlying skin. Furthermore they do not usually happen after fractures, though it is possible.

It could just be the way the bone healed. I wouldn't be worried about cancer, maybe just a calcification, or something of that nature. If you're worried, have another follow up with your doc. But since open (complex) fractures are just that, more complex, they may heal differently than simple (closed) fractures.

Infections are common even in surgical breaks. Contact your doctor you may need antibiotics especially if the area is hot. Don't take chances with your ability to stay out of a wheel chair.
